Part Origin: Removed from a 1890's Parker Brothers. more A nice condition stock that is ready for many more years of service. The repair is excellent and used the same chipped piece so the grain marks are perfectly matched. I never noticed it was there until reviewing the pictures. There has been a professionally repaired chip at the toe. The color is the correct reddish tone and I don't think its ever been refinished or altered. Probably the best fit I have seen on this age of a shotgun. The wood fit was tight on the rifle and proud in most places. The stock has a few of the normal nicks and bumps as expected from a 120 year old stock. The stock is in overall very good condition. The stock came off a 1890's P Grade Double Barrel. Part Description: Nice Original condition rear stock for a Parker Brothers Shotgun.

On another gun I measured that figure is 14 inches. more a metal tape measure from the front lip to the back of the recoil pad is 12 1/4 inches. I think this came off a youth model shotgun.
#New baker shotgun models install
You'll need to remove it to install the buttstock anyway. I removed the recoil pad for the pictures. You won't need to buy the special wrench needed to install it. The forearm is complete and ready to install on the fore end tube assembly. Overall all I'd rate the set as good+ to very good. And some marring in the finish on the right hand side that you can see in the right light. On the buttstock there is a chip on the bottom edge. The color on the two pieces of wood don't exactly match, the forearm is a darker. Buttstock with recoil pad and buttstock bolt. This auction is for a used furniture set for a 20 gauge 870 Remington shotgun.
